Introduction
By using the Fisc-Haul application, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the application. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review them regularly.
Application Usage
Fisc-Haul is an application designed to help truck drivers track their trips and complete tax forms. The application allows you to track your journeys, record expenses, and generate reports.
You agree to use the application legally and not to disrupt its functioning or access parts of the application without authorization.
Data Collection
Fisc-Haul does not collect any personal data nor store sensitive data on remote servers. All information is processed locally on your device. We respect your privacy and commit not to share your data with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.
Intellectual Property
The content of the application, including graphics, logos, text, and other elements, is protected by copyright. You agree not to copy, modify, or distribute the content of the application without prior authorization.
Limitation of Liability
The application is provided "as is," and we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or continuously available. Under no circumstances will we be liable for financial losses or direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the application.
Application Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or remove certain features of the application at any time without notice. We will make efforts to inform you of any significant changes affecting the use of the application.
Legal Compliance
The application is designed to comply, to the best of our knowledge, with the Income Tax Act of Canada and the Quebec Taxation Act. However, we disclaim any responsibility regarding the interpretation of these laws. If a new interpretation bulletin or information circular is issued by tax authorities, we commit to updating the application as soon as possible to ensure compliance with the new guidelines.
No Tax or Legal Advice
The Fisc-Haul application is a tool designed to help truck drivers log their trips and generate reports and forms (including, in particular, the TL2 form for Canada and the TP‑66 form for Quebec) based on current tax rules in Canada. These reports are generated from the data you provide or that the application automatically collects during normal operation.
Fisc-Haul does not constitute tax, accounting, or legal advice and does not replace consultation with a qualified professional. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the data and reports generated by the application are complete, accurate, and suitable for your situation. Before relying on this information for important tax or administrative decisions, it is recommended that you have it reviewed by an accountant, tax professional, or other qualified professional.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FiscAssist Inc. shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, tax penalties, financial, legal, or other consequences resulting from the use of the application, generated reports, or any interpretation of tax laws by the user.
Governing Law
These terms of service are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes regarding the use of the application will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of this province.
